Whew, Lookbook #5 was a doozy in a I’m-making-room-for-myself kind of way. With that, the fall of 2023 and following winter of 2023-24 brought confidence after shedding a past partner who was desperate for a sexy mommy-therapist. My HuffPost piece came to fruition. I also started a new job that gave me a love-hate relationship for pensive commutes. In February 2024, my friend cohosted a conference I attended in Portland, centering around deconstructing as exvangelicals and sexual topics in polyamory/ENM, sex work, and queerdom. (We all tend to gravitate to each other.) It was the first time I really felt normal since leaving church culture.

Let’s start with the fall. The green dress. I just love it because it makes me love my body even more. I was a few months into my burlesque journey and applying for more positions after turning down a wine job I oftentimes regret not taking.

I had the free time to snap and write. I wrapped up a copy freelance job for a pasties company after they started demanding more in regard to responsibilities without the proper compensation. The good old days… in limbo. Why not take a few pics with this pink silk lace number as well?
