“I can’t do this, Lydia. I really can’t. I have to go. I’m actually already late. My kids …”
“That’s fine,” she placed his hand on her breast. “We can pick this up again–”
“No,” he said, backing away. “I really can’t have a relationship with you. In fact, I think we need to just say ‘good bye.’”
She started to cry and walked into the living room. She sat on the couch and pulled a throw over her naked body.
“Look, you are beautiful. Why would you go for an old married dad like me? There’s someone out there for you,” he said sitting at the end of the couch.
“You know, Ethan, I don’t know what it was because I really didn’t want a relationship, but when I met Elise–”
